The Signature Collection is the core of what we do. It’s our year-round grouping of classic staples - our best work. They are foundational, seasonless, versatile, well-engineered, functional garments that tell a positive story about who we are and what we believe. The Signature Collection is ever evolving with frequent improvements and adjustments made based on your feedback. That evolution involves changes and, at times, it requires letting certain pieces, fabrics, and colors go for the betterment of the collection.

We are relaunching the Fourth Generation of the Signature Collection in two parts. The first launch will be on November 1st, 2017. This launch will include updates to many of our current beloved pieces. The second launch will be in early 2018, and it will include more complex changes to current styles and many new pieces that we've been workshopping and testing behind the scenes.

Before the November launch, the current Signature Collection will be removed from the site entirely. You'll be able to shop it from now until 11:59pm on October 25th. I know many of you love the fit and fabrics of our current available styles, so below you will find a guide to all of the styles and fabrics that are currently available in Signature. Every current Signature Collection item is listed below, and next to the images, you'll find information on whether that style is leaving the collection or not, changing significantly or not, and why.

A few caveats...

First, these are our current plans, and nothing is ever set in stone (design can be finicky in that way). I'm doing my best to give the most accurate information possible, but we are still working on the collection internally, and some decisions and ideas come to me in the last moments!

One last thing - this list is only reflective of the items currently available in Signature. There is a lot of really exciting newness coming up that I cannot wait to share with you, and I think it's truly going to be our best work yet.

Let me know if you have any questions in the comments. We are here to help!

Marlena Dress in Raw Silk Broadcloth

What is leaving?

All current colorways of the Marlena Dress in Raw Silk Broadcloth are being discontinued, including Black and Eggshell. This fabric and style are altogether leaving the site.

What is staying?

Nothing!

Important Info to Know:

The Marlena styles (Dress, Midi, and Tank) are being discontinued because we have not found a successful way to fit a reversible v-neck on the diverse body types that make up our customer base without putting darts in the bust area. I believe darts would not complement the lines of the garment.

We are introducing a similar scoop-neck slip dress in Silk Crepe in November and in other fabrics in 2018. It is possible that, in an upcoming collaboration with Alabama Chanin, we will offer a Marlena Dress style, but that is not definite!

We are considering bringing back a raw silk fabric in 2018, but have no definite plans for that either. I am not happy with how the current fabric lays on the body, how it wears over time, and the color options available through our current vendor.

All current colorways of the Tilda Pant in Midweight Linen are being discontinued, including Flax, Navy, Black, and Ivory. This style is altogether leaving the site.

Important Info to Know:

The Tilda Pant is being discontinued because the fit of such a slim pant wasn’t working with the woven fabrics we use. The fit on customers was consistently too tight, which resulted in damaged garments. The fit customers want will be better served by a stretch pant.
