Tell us a little bit about yourself: As I began to answer this question, I gazed up and noticed my vision board hanging in my office here at ES. On it is a photo of Steve Jobs, Frank Lloyd Wright, and I.M. Pei, in addition to, photos of an exhibit at The Met, a Parisian street corner, Elizabeth Suzann, and a handwritten reminder to myself that I should be reading always. Below it is a photo of my husband, Jared. To its left hangs a bulletin board filled with notes from co-workers, friends, and family. Needless to say, my office at ES encapsulates much of who I am (right now). I deeply appreciate architecture as an artistic expression; Frank Lloyd Wright is my current favorite. I love to travel with my husband, Jared, both close to our home in Tennessee and of course further from home, as well. We are dreaming of a trip is Paris, France — mostly for the street musicians, food and wine, and architecture. I absolutely love working at Elizabeth Suzann and won’t ever tire of expressing my gratitude for this company. Jared and I have two furry children, Jones (our troublemaker puppy) and Albert (our chubby, surpringly social cat). I’m currently reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, and next on my queue is Quiet by Susan Cain. Friends and family (eh hem, relationships!) make the world go 'round in my opinion.
I am a midwesterner through and through, but I loved living in Boston, MA for a time and now Nashville, TN. I love to binge watch Netflix originals, have a bit of coffee with my cream, and run while listening to "Adelina" by Johnnyswim. I could eat tacos at least three times a week. Fall is my favorite season. And I equally prefer both the city and the country.
What you love about ES: Elizabeth Suzann, to me, is a strong engine that drives imperative change in an ever-growing industry. Elizabeth Suzann has transformed workplace conditions in the world of manufacturing, but it has not stopped there. It is an incubator for matchless artistic expression, as well as, great philosophical practice, huge and important dreams, and the implementation of each.
As a consumer, I prefer to shop at Elizabeth Suzann when looking for the essential, most attractive, highest quality, and most trustworthy pieces. I can live in my ES pieces — from working on chores at home, to walking Jones, to sharing a nice meal out on the town with Jared — I can truly experience all parts of my life in them. Every piece goes with another, and I can do more with less. What beats that?
