Tell us a little bit about yourself: I’ve lived the majority of my life in the suburbs of Chicago and in the city. I always knew I’d leave. I just didn’t know when or where to. Six years ago I came to this wondrous Land of Enchantment and I immediately fell in love. It resonated with me so deeply in a way that the midwest never did or could and I knew that this was where I was suppose to be. I live with my partner, Jay, and our awesome Blue Heeler/German Shepherd rescue, Buddy the Great. On any given day, I can be found at home relishing in the tranquility of slow living, perusing the internet for creative inspiration for my next project, cruising in my hybrid with Buddy in tow running errands together whilst listening incessantly to progressive talk radio, trying to convince Jay of my outlandish ideas such as why us getting a donkey or a llama IS indeed a great idea, buying more plants than I’m capable of caring for, hiking up one of the myriad of trailheads, curling up in my chair nose deep in a good read, cooking, volunteering, signing e-petitions on issues I’m passionate about, and my most recent endeavor, fly-fishing.
What you love about ES: What I love most about Elizabeth Suzann is the ease, comfort and timelessness of her pieces. In a world full of questions, decisions, and choices, I don't want deciding what to wear to be the most time consuming and difficult decisions I have to make all day. Life is short and there are far more important things and ways to spend the day. I'd much rather use my creative energy to conjure up ways to better the world and to reflect within on what I can do to be the best version of myself so that those around me are inspired and uplifted. That's why I choose sustainable designers like Elizabeth Suzann that make the question of what to wear easy. Comfortable and timeless pieces that make me feel confident and beautiful when I wear them.
