Tell us a little about yourself: I'm proud to be the daughter of hardworking immigrant parents and love my Korean-American roots. I'm passionate about reclaiming dominant narratives around minority and ethnic cultures and identities, passionate about food and its power to tell stories, and on a lighter note, passionate about comfy clothes that look really good on my broad-shouldered, tallish frame. I'm lucky enough to call Oakland home, and appreciate what this city has taught me about beauty, grit, and commitment.
