What you love about ES: I've worked in anti-trafficking for the past five years, and after immersing myself in that world, seeing the horrors of modern day slavery in the fashion industry and beyond, I knew I couldn't wear clothes that were possibly made my slaves anymore. I love Elizabeth Suzann because of her commitment to making things in Nashville and using only the best fabrics. Not only are her clothes beautiful and versatile, but for me, they tell that awesome story that less is more and happy people make happy things. I feel joyful wearing her pieces knowing who made them and how.
Tell us a little about yourself: I am the Executive Director and Co-founder of a new non-profit called The MEND Project. It's goal is to educate, equip, and restore those impacted by domestic violence and double abuse. With a background in both business and non-profit work, I've always been passionate about speaking out on behalf of those who have no voice. I live in Long Beach with my husband Brian, a photographer, and my Maltese Rufio.
