Tell us a little bit about yourself: I’m Liz. You may have already read about me here, but I’m a clothing designer, small-business owner, and doggy mom. I love to be outdoors but don’t get outside as much as I’d like. I really enjoy working, and working for me could mean a hundred things. Some days I’m answering emails or working on spreadsheets, other days I’m on set in another part of the country with beautiful models and incredible photographers. I love it all!

What you love about ES: This feels a little strange to answer, and a little pretentious, but I’ll give it a go. What I love most about the clothes I design is the fact that they are comfortable. I am not willing to suffer for the sake of fashion (I used to be, and I was very unhappy). Comfort in a physical environment is so important to me, and that can mean many things. It can mean cleanliness, scent, lighting, temperature - but what is on my body is the first and perhaps most influential factor. So, I love the fact that I can wear ES and feel like myself, feel put together and confident, but also not feel restricted, or bound, or like I can’t bend over too far or spontaneously start sprinting (that’s unlikely, but still). Physical comfort is important, but more significantly than simply feeling good, I am able to think more clearly, speak more confidently, and do better work when I don’t have to worry about what I’m wearing.
