  • Made with 100% natural fibers–they’re renewable, feel exquisite to wear, and biodegrade at the end of their life. We garment wash all of our clothing, so your order arrives pre-shrunk and wonderfully softened.

The skirt that's so simple it's brilliant. I sometimes find skirts too fussy for my taste, so I created the most pared-down version of this garment–nothing less and nothing more than exactly what was needed. It has enough length to show some leg but also provides modest coverage, a generous hem to add luxe weight and body to the fabric, and just enough gathering to add fullness and movement at the hip but not become bulky at the waist. Deep, sleek inseam pockets provide plenty of room for storing odds and ends along with a place to keep your hands occupied (we all know how useful pockets are for those of us that need somewhere to put our hands!).

Wear this at home with a soft wool sweater and socks (my fave). Swap the socks for suede heels and head to dinner! You can also pair this with an easy tee and sneakers for a brisk walk.

100% Linen, Oeko-Tex certified. Medium weight, sturdy broadcloth that can be pressed to a neat, crisp finish or left wrinkled after washing for a perfectly lived-in look. Linen possesses natural strength and durability, and it's a super friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing, and is hypoallergenic, comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent.

Linen is a natural fiber made from cellulose fiber inside the stalks of the flax plant. It is a complete product of nature, and can vary drastically in color and texture based on the growing conditions of the season. Variations in base color and texture are not uncommon.

Natural imperfections in weave are also to be expected and embraced--slubs, nubs, and occasional bits of organic matter are common in linen. If you are looking for the homogeny and perfection of a synthetic fiber or a finely woven cotton you will not find it in linen.

Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry warm. Leave unpressed for a beautifully rumpled look or press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.

Flax

A neutral to end all neutrals. Our Flax Linen is the undyed, natural color of the fiber. The color can vary from the palest beach sand to uncooked oatmeal with flecks of warm spices to a taupe putty with grey undertones. We challenge you to find a pairing color Flax linen doesn’t bring out the best in.

Black

With the natural variations in the weave of true linen, our Black is anything but basic. Unworn, this forever shade holds the saturation of soot and tar. If you wash and tumble dry, over time you’ll see a bit more fading around the seams, giving a lived-in, favorite tee look.

Olive

Like a drizzle of the nicest bottle of olive oil in your pantry, this shade of our Midweight Linen is a Mediterranean-inspired pop of earth. Wash and dry it for years and it will still retain the most beautiful lichen-esque hue. Pairs effortlessly with neutrals like our Flax Midweight Linen.

Navy

Possibly the cooler little sister to Black, our Navy Midweight Linen is a color of substance. It can read almost black in a certain light, but its true essence is an inky midnight blue. It fades over time, wash, and wear like your favorite dark denim, which makes us love it all the more.

Pecan

A warm, loamy brown with a nod to milk chocolate. Pair with other earth tones like Olive for head-to-toe forest bathing, or Black to bring out the red undertones.

Saffron

This shade reminds us of the freshest farm eggs and early spring daffodils. It's an elevated yellow with hints of gold. Wear with Terra for a southwest desert vibe or Ivory to really let this yolk run yellow.

Sea Glass

A timeless chameleon. In soft light and shadow this will read more blue. In bright light, we witness a cool grey. We would wear this with Black any day of the week, or take it up a notch with Flax bottoms for some coastal energy.

This 6th Edition Bel Skirt Pant has inseam pockets! We worked really hard to add pockets that are functional, but nearly invisible and don't impact the silhouette of the pant. The model photos above do not show the pocket update, but they do represent the correct fit/fabric/colors!

Intended to have a relaxed fit. High waist, mid-calf length hem. Elastic waist provides flexibility, so try sizing up or down based on your preferences.

Bel Skirt Highlights

1. Dramatic high-rise skirt great for layering. Go bare legs in spring and summer with a tank. Layer in winter with tights and sweaters.

2. In this 6th edition, the comfortable, elastic waistband is stitched in place to prevent rolling or twisting.

3. The subtle high-low curved hemline hits at mid-calf length.

4. The inseam pockets are nearly invisible and expertly secured under the waistband so they don’t move around.

    Skirt of my dreams

    Beautiful and dreamy skirt. It's lovely with just about any kind of top or shoes. I am 5'4" and had mine hemmed just a little bit - it was simple and quick for the tailor. Love it!!!

    Lovely Skirt

    The price had stopped me for years on this skirt. I finally took the plunge and so glad I did . The fabric is a luxury, it is just gorgeous. The skirt is very wearable for many occasions. I am 5’7” and it hits me just below my calf so it is a lot of skirt. Thank you for such a high quality item, it was worth the investment .

    My favorite skirt

    I wear this skirt a few times a week or more and am not sick of it yet. It’s soft but sturdy and goes with so many tops and shoe combinations. Lovvve.

    Gorgeous skirt, love the pockets!

    I really liked this skirt, I tried it in both XL. And 1XL and both fit fine, I would probably go with the smaller size. Love the quality linen, roomy fit and deep pockets. I returned the skirts because after trying them on I realized I might not get enough wear out of them to justify the price, but for someone who wears skirts a lot, this skirt is the bomb!!!
