  • Description

The Reece is a revival of one of the very first sweaters I designed. Structural and oversized, with simple lines and side slits. This is a statement piece with an everyday ease about it, so you can wear it on repeat all winter long. Cropped wide sleeves flatter the wrist and look great with a cuff peeking out from under. Its boxy, relaxed cut is super comfortable and pairs well with similarly oversized bottoms, or slim-fitting cigarette pants and silk skirts.

The minimal cut highlights the beauty and texture of the fabric—a true wear-with-anything piece. Layer over thin sweaters for more warmth, or pair with jeans or a skirt for milder weather.

Love this style? It's also available in dress length! Check out the Reece Series here!

  • Material & Care

    Fabric: Lightweight Wool

Fiber Content: 60% Climate Beneficial Wool, 40% Alpaca, domestically sourced

Description: A cozy, lightweight, plainweave wool. This deceptively soft wool has the luxury and handfeel of cashmere or brushed cotton and the warmth of heavy sheepswool, without the weight or itch. Our wool-alpaca blend is as breathable as it is insulating. Because of its moisture wicking properties, it’s sure to keep you comfortable on a brisk winter day. The fine yarn gauge and tight weave make this Lightweight Wool perfect for many seasons and climates. Our wool is washed in house to give it a brushed, organic finish. Heathered yarn blends natural and colored fiber together for a variegated, earthy appearance.

Care: Hand wash with cold water and wool detergent. Lay flat to dry. For a sharp suiting look, press on high heat with steam and a wool clapper.

*Due to wool's short staple fibers, some pilling is to be expected in areas of high friction. Use a wool brick or sweater shaver to remove pills.

Winter MVP

Beautiful. I wear a tee or a base layer under it so I don’t have to wash it between wears. But the wool is very soft and gets softer as you go. The weave is beautiful. In fawn there are pills/knots in the fabric, I had to (carefully) pull some of the bigger knots through to the underside. Once I did that, I have no complaints. The deep side slits means the top has great drape and movement and it also allows airflow underneath. Size down, this runs 1-2 sizes big. I’m a 10/12 in other clothes, I took a medium and could have gone down to a small.

I’ve been wearing this a few times a week for the last month... it’s my favorite sweater now.

Best sweater

I love how it is warm yet not bulky and it is a sweater yet very elegant in cut. I can wear it over all ES tops and dresses for an extra warm layer. The fabric is beautiful and I can really feel how much work and care went into creating it.

I love it. I ordered an XS and could have sized down to an XXS for a more fitted look but I like it oversized. So soft! I wore a layer underneath it the first several wears and then it was soft enough to wear on its own. I've worn it 20+ times already and haven't had to wash it yet. It will crease when folded but I just hang it for a couple of hours before wearing it and the creases come right out. The side slits were higher than expected so you definitely need a layer under or a super high-waisted bottom. The sleeves seemed cropped when I first tried it on but the wool has relaxed a bit and they're longer now. The Fawn color and texture is extra special and coordinates well with everything in my closet. Get one!

Big Love for Reece

Lovely fabric with unique texture. TTS fit (I wear S or OS). Gorgeous Fawn color (I just ordered Charcoal too)! I run hot and live in Wisconsin--this piece isn't too much or too little. A treasure.
