Our classic trio of Clyde Outerwear styles is finally available for you to sew at home!
The Clyde Jacket, Trench, and Vest are defined by our our essential Clyde pocket spanning the sides with its crescent shape. With traditional trench vibes, a relaxed, slouchy fit, added swing and a large shawl collar, the Clyde has a deliciously nostalgic shape while still feeling ultra-modern. Its massive pockets carry anything you need.
The open front with no closures makes this an easy piece to sew, and suitable for a myriad of fabrics. There are no complex techniques, just a fair number of pieces to manage and quite a bit of recommended topstitching.
Lighter and drapier fabrics will be easier to construct and create a more transitional layering garment, whereas heavier fabrics like canvas or wool can serve as more traditional coats but take a bit more patience to assemble.
