The Clyde Jumpsuit Masterclass
The Clyde Jumpsuit, an all-in-one outfit that is equal parts interesting, versatile, and exceedingly comfortable. It’s that elusive blend of form and function, and it’s famous for a reason: those incredible, crescent-shaped pockets and triple-seamed legs! If you've been intrigued by this jumpsuit but haven't tackled it yet, or if you've made one (or several) and are looking for an improved fit and construction tips, this is the class for you.
Join me (virtually) for six weeks of live instruction and collaboration where we’ll create a one-and-done outfit that's suited perfectly to you. Together, we’ll work through fitting and constructing the Clyde Jumpsuit step by step.
We'll cover the full pattern including fit adjustments, along with modifications to add a closure at the shoulder or center back if you choose. We'll transfer adjustments to your pattern so you have a ready-to-use version once the workshop is over, and you'll learn all our time-tested construction and finishing techniques for a stress-free sewing experience.

Required Materials & Tools
Materials we’ll provide
- Digital copy of the Clyde Jumpsuit pattern in all sizes + instructions
- Printed copy of the Clyde Jumpsuit in all sizes
Materials you’ll provide
- 3 yards of a medium-weight woven fabric, between 5-9oz/yd (the amount of fabric you’ll need depends on the size you plan to make, 2X and above need closer to 3.5 yds)
- Your workshop purchase includes a 20% discount on all ES fabrics—you’ll receive a separate email with this after your order is placed
- All-purpose thread that matches your fabric. I recommend Gutermann Mara 100 for almost all projects, and it’s the thread we’ve manufactured with for years.
