  • Description

A masculine trouser that evokes just the right amount of 90s business-suit drama but is tapered and balanced enough to feel modern. Elegant high waist, gorgeous front pleats for drama, and sleek back darts for shape. In soft Midweight Linen, these feel like the ultimate west coast luxury. They'll adopt wrinkles gracefully and look even better broken in. I love this pant paired with a matching jacket and a sleek turtleneck underneath or layered under a long dress with shiny loafers.

  • Material & Care

    Fabric: Midweight Linen

    Fiber Content: 100% Linen

Description: Medium weight, sturdy broadcloth linen that can be pressed to a neat, crisp finish or left wrinkled after washing for a perfectly lived-in look. Linen possesses natural strength and durability, and it's a super friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing and is virtually lint free, hypoallergenic, comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent.

Care: Machine washable. Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry warm. Leave unpressed for a beautifully rumpled look (as pictured here), or press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.

*Linen is a natural fiber and will fade and wear over time, which we love. If you prefer your garments to not show as much wear, hand wash and do not tumble dry.

*Garment measurements were taken flat, so double where necessary. All measurements are approximate, +/- a tolerance that is to be expected with handmade clothing.

Natalie’s waist places her in a Medium while her hips place her in a Large. To demonstrate a slimmer fit, Natalie wears a Medium in our product photos. Please note that sizing down may cause quicker wear and tear on a garment. If you too are in between sizes and intend to wear your pant regularly, then we suggest sizing up, particularly in Silk Crepe.

I love Andy

The Andy is such a classic style. This is the first pair of linen pants that I'm wearing in to the winter. They look just as good layered with tights, boots, and a big cozy sweater as they will with a Petra and sandals in the warmer months!

Perfect pants!

Looks amazing with my machine crop, easy fit and always flattering while feeling like pajamas. What more could you want?

My favorite pants

I love the Andy silhouette. I have two pairs, and wear both equally. Will be looking into a heavier weight canvas pair for the upcoming cooler months. I purchased the M-R, and the size is spot on for me. I wear a 10/12 in pants, sometimes an 8, depending on brand. I carry my weight in my thighs and butt, and there are comfortable and loose without being tight in either place. Hoping the canvas in the same size works as well.

Almost perfect

I love these pants and have worn them all summer. My only complaint is that I really wish they had pockets! I’m a pocket fanatic, though, so I might be alone on this.

Favorite pants

This was my second pair of ES pants, but I think they might be my favorite. I had purchased a 00 Short in the Clydes, and while I could probably have sized down in the Andys (I got a XS Short), I love how voluminous and breezy these look in the slightly larger size. I purchased them in olive midweight linen and have worn them everywhere from weekends in the city to every trip I've taken since purchasing them. Pair with a crop tee or a tucked-in fitted top, and you're good to go!

Perfect for dressing up or down

I am seriously in love with these pants. The high rise and crop leg are very flattering and the olive color is stunning, simple yet eye catching . I see these being in heavy rotation as they combine well with loads in my wardrobe.

I could probably have done a small, but love the wider, loose silhouette.

The perfect summer trouser

These are even better than I'd hoped! They're loose, airy and comfortable, but just structured enough to look really clean and put-together. The waistband is tall, thick elastic that doesn't fold over too much when I sit or bend. Saving up to get another pair for sure!

The BEST pants I own!

I am absolutely obsessed with my olive Andy trousers! They are by far my most worn clothing item I own and I will definitely be purchasing the terra color in the future. I seriously have to convince myself to try and rotate them because I just want to wear them every day!

Love love love these pants!!!

These pants are so fun to wear! They make me feel great and the olive color is beautiful. Based on the size chart, I was a Small Tall, not the volume on the pants in that size was a bit much for my frame. I ended up sizing down to an XS tall and was worried they were going to be too snug, but they were perfect and not too tight in the waist, even though my waist measured as a size S. So don’t be afraid to experiment with sizes if the first size doesn’t work.

love love love

i've been looking for the right pair of linen pants for a long time and am very glad to have found these. a lot of what i've tried on has either been vintage or lower quality linen and it's just been scratchy or half worn out, etc, or the fit just isn't right...it goes on. these guys are SO comfy and the linen is insanely soft and sturdy feeling. they were a big egg-shaped when i first put them on, but the linen relaxes nicely. they look best with a cropped or french-tucked shirt, i will say, which is hard for my instinct to fully tuck things in!

still my skin is pretty sensitive to scratchy fabrics like linen (even with how soft this is) and i was worried about them relaxing *too* much in a day and it irritating the skin between my thighs, so i threw on a pair of cotton bike shorts underneath, and i think that was wise. i also require a pretty short rise...the average torso-length'd person may not have to worry about that.

as far as sizing, i was quite torn between a M and a L and reached out both on instagram and with the CS team---i think it just depends on your hip to waist ratio. i'm hourglass, so my hips are proportionally much bigger than my waist, and that usually puts me in a L for ES pants since they don't have a zipper or buttons. you don't want to overly force the linen waist over your hips because it's just not as reinforced as the canvas---i think a M would fit me but may be more of a shimmy into which may strain the fabric. i went with an L and i'm happy…
