Our current Cotton Canvas material is being discontinued as we prepare to release a new, 100% recycled Cotton Canvas this spring. Learn more about this discontinuation and our new Cotton Canvas here.
As a farewell surprise, we’ve created our three belt styles—Asawa, Greta, and Serpentine—in our current Cotton Canvas for those of you who want to complete your current Cotton Canvas outerwear pieces with a matching belt. These belts will be available for the duration of the Cotton Canvas discontinuation until March 1 or until we run out of fabric, whichever comes first. Because they are limited edition, please note we are unable to offer discounts on canvas belts.
A classic wide belt that makes all of our cinching, silhouette-creating dreams come true, especially when paired with our outerwear. I like to think a 2019 Greta Garbo would pair a Clyde Trench in Flax Midweight Linen with this waist belt all spring long. It's substantial enough in width to really define the waist, but not so wide that it buckles when you sit down. And it's not just for jackets; use this piece to metamorphose our most oversized, fluid garments into new and transformative shapes. Subtle curves or dramatic cinching add endless options to your wardrobe.
My favorite way to wear this belt is in monochromatic outfits with a matching jacket or dress, but contrast is also eye-catching. Use this canvas version to close open-front jackets or to cinch in a sweater dress at the waist.
