  • Details

There are a handful of garments that I wear over and over again, and this tunic captures the best elements of those staples - an easy, unfussy fit, half sleeves that stay out of the way, flattering mid-thigh length, and one big pocket to catch all the miscellany I end up with throughout the day.

The cut skims the body loosely, ideal for layering in the fall and winter. The lightweight gauze fabric paired with the roomy silhouette is the perfect combination for hot summer days. When you're working, comfort is key, but you still want to look put together. The Harper has an interesting and avant garde appeal, and it would only be improved by drips and smears of paint or a dusting of flour from the kitchen.

Cut from a beautifully textured crinkly linen gauze. It has inherent stretch so it moves with the body beautifully while still retaining drape. Organic and variegated in color and feel.

  • Material & Care

    Linen Gauze

    100% Linen

A gorgeous lightweight linen gauze that has a wonderful texture. The crinkled finish gives the fabric inherent stretch. It's airy and floaty without being too sheer, hugging the body in slimmer styles and draping beautifully in others. Much lighter than our midweight linen, but still strong and durable. It will only soften and improve with age, starting out with a coarser finish but with the ability to become more supple and flexible with wear. We love linen because of the natural strength and durability the fiber possesses, and because it is a very friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing, is virtually lint-free, hypoallergenic, extremely comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent. This yarn-dyed gauze possesses rustic charm and variation, giving it an organic personality.

Available in two delicious grays - a light heathered "Smoke," and a dark, warm "Charcoal."

Hand or machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry hot. Store folded or flat in order to avoid stretching - if stretching occurs, machine washing and drying will return to original shape. Crinkled finish is intentional, do not press. To remove fold creases or wrinkles, lightly steam or toss in the dryer with a damp towel. Avoid excessive stress on seams.

  • Sizing & Fit

Available in sizes One Size Minus, One Size, and One Size Plus. OS fits most, but we offer OS Minus for smaller-framed, petite customers, and OS Plus for larger-framed, broader folks. The OS Minus is recommended for those 5'3" and shorter, or those who prefer a slimmer, narrower fit. OS Plus is recommended for sizes 12 and above, or those who have broader shoulders or prefer a more oversized fit. See our size chart for more information.

Intended to have a relaxed, oversized fit. Its structured silhouette stands away from the body. Cropped length hits at natural waist.

The warm weather Harper. We opened the armhole just a tad on this, but other than that made no changes to the Signature Pattern. We’ll adjust the armhole in the Signature Collection when we relaunch later this summer! In linen gauze this feels a bit less oversized than our more structured midweight linen, and perhaps will feel less overwhelming to petite frames.

Shayla (short hair) is 5' 9.5" with a 33" bust, 26" waist, and 36" hip. She is wearing the OS.

Renee (long hair) is 5' 9.5" with a 33" bust, 25" waist and 36" hip. She is wearing the OS.
