These are my dream jeans-but-not-quite-jeans. I love denim, and I have quite a collection from my search for the perfect vintage silhouette; sturdy 100% cotton material, just the right color (not too light, not too dark), classic and ~cool~ looking, and–here's the kicker–COMFORTABLE. I need denim that I love when I'm standing in front of the mirror, but that I still love 2 hours later when I'm sitting at my desk or curled up on the couch.
Enter: the Miles Trouser. Yes, I know, it's denim with an elastic waist. The tall 2" band, high rise, and dark wash keep it classy, but I also wear these with tunics and tops that cover the waist if you prefer that look. Topstitched pockets at the front and back give a friendly nod to the vintage military pants that I pull out again and again. The rear pocket placement lifts and supports the booty, and the angled front pocket openings make those super easy and accessible.
12oz indigo denim is sturdy, supportive, and durable. These will stretch out a bit with wear (as all 100% cotton does), so they may be a bit snug when you first try them on! If they are, try a squat or two and see if they settle in. The raw hem is tacked at the seam so it won't unravel, but can be folded and pressed at any length you prefer. Get ready to live in these bad boys!
MaryMarie is wearing a 3X. She has a 51" chest, 45" waist, and 55" hip.
Kaitlin is wearing a Small. She has a 34" chest, 26" waist, and 37" hip.

100% Cotton, milled in a factory with Oeko Tex Standard 1000 certification. Heavy weight, sturdy denim in a gorgeous, washed indigo colorway. Reads darker in person than in photos, but has a true blue hue. The 12oz denim is ever so slightly darker than the 8oz denim.
Cotton is heavy duty, breathable, natural fiber that washes and dries beautifully. Ease of wear and care and potential for longevity are the reasons we selected this material.
12oz weight is sturdy and durable–perfect for hard-wearing pants and silhouettes that benefit from structure. While this material is heavy-duty, it's still super soft and comfortable. It will stretch with wear (as all 100% cotton will), but will shrink back up in the dryer if you need it to.
Indigo dye is natural and can be difficult to control–variations in color are to be expected and are not considered a defect. There may even be various hues within the same garment, and the color may shift and evolve over time. This material was washed at the mill, and our garments are washed and dried after production, so there should not be bleed-through, but some fading over time may still occur.
Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry warm. Leave unpressed for a casual look or press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.
- AmyVerified Buyer3 months agoRated 5 out of 5 starsBest jeans trouser style pant ever!
I tried this pant in the 1XL and 2XL. While the smaller size fit, the hips felt a bit tight, although the waist and legs fit great! I think the larger size is a tad too large but it is so hard for me to find jeans that look decent on me and (most importantly) are comfortable enough for me to actually wear that I kept them. The main thing that I LOVE about these is the leg width--not too wide and not too restricting, especially at the calf. When I'm at home, I'm up and down a lot and spend a fair amount of time sitting on the floor, so having pants that aren't restricting is very important to me. I agree with some of the other reviewers' comments about the rise, but overall, I love these pants and I'd probably get another pair if they were available.

I love the elastic waist. I wear tops long so no tcking needed. I am a 50” hip. I bought the 2x. Love the raw hem.
- Molly B.Verified Buyer4 months agoRated 3 out of 5 starsWrong Rise, Wrong Thighs, Right Everything Else
First the good: the texture! the cuffs! the way it drapes down the calf! All of these elements are superlative and very worth purchasing this item for. If you are a mid-rise jean lover, run don't walk and get yourself a pair!
However, the rise of these pants is not high enough for my abdomen, which means instead these pants hit me at the roundest part of my beautiful belly. The back rise also barely covered me when I was seated. Additionally the thighs were a little snug when moving/sitting. And I am firmly on the lower end of XL, so sizing up I don't think could mend the most central of my problems: too low.
Everything else about this trouser is so good I kept it for a few additional days before making the decision to return. If two inches were added to the rise and a little more room in the back and thighs, I would be shouting from the mountain tops about these trousers.Elizabeth Suzann4 months ago
Thank you so much for this feedback, Molly! The rise and size feedback has been pretty consistent, so we are going to make some changes before releasing this style in any other fabrics in the future! I really appreciate your sharing because it helps us make improvements, and that's a win-win for everybody.

I have literally worn these almost every day since they arrived. I only wear something else on the very hot summer days! I just ordered a second pair because I'm not sure what I would do without them. The denim is amazing, but mostly it's the style that makes it for me! I am postpartum & have felt gross in all my pants since baby was born. Enter the Miles and they have changed my whole outlook on myself! I don't know how she does it... At my most vulnerable and gross feeling, these pants have made me feel like a gorgeous bombshell.
- Beverly A.Verified Buyer5 months agoRated 5 out of 5 starsVintage denim style with soft pants comfort
These jeans were the first real pants I wore postpartum, and the structured but soft denim is amazing. I sized up from my normal M for extra comfort, but the waistband is soft enough I could have stuck with my normal size. The rise is shorter than I’d like compared to my M-tall Flos, but with the softer elastic it doesn’t bother me too much.
