Georgia Pattern Hacking Boot Camp
The best wardrobes are built on a foundation of perfect staples, and the true magic begins when you learn to make those staples entirely your own. The Georgia has always been our go-to base pattern for endless variations, and in this workshop we'll use it as our blank canvas.
In this live, four-week workshop we'll explore the fundamentals of pattern hacking and walk through transforming this simple, boxy silhouette into a series of unique pieces. Imagine adding a gathered tier to create a romantic dress, turning the cuffs into long balloon sleeves, adding a button-down front or yoked back, or turning the neckline from a simple scoop to a deep V. We'll use feedback and goals from the group to determine what adjustments we cover.
This class is for the creative sewist who is ready to see the hidden potential in the patterns they love, giving you the tools and confidence to become the architect of your own wardrobe.
You'll end the class with an arsenal of fresh pattern ideas to experiment with this winter, and the tools to start architecting your own wardrobe.
